Harlowtown. Take a leisurely drive on
MT Hwy 3/US 191 and enjoy Crystal Lake, Ice Caves, and the
wind farm. Its landscape is known for beauty and wildlife.
ARLEE
Off White Coyote Rd at 34574, the
GARDEN OF 1000 BUDDHAS
is situated in the Jocko Valley, nestled in the Confederated Sal-
ish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Mission Mountains. It
was created through the guidance of Gochen Tolku Sang-ngag
Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist lama and dedicated to inner

MISSOULA
SAM BRAXTON NATIONAL RECREATION TRAIL in
the Pattee Canyon Picnic Area of the Lolo
National Forest. A 3.5 mile loop, it's easy,
peaceful hike likely to be full of wildflowers,
larch, and ponderosa pine. It's named after
well-known Missoula skier, bicyclist, and
outdoorsman. Remnants of old homesteads
may be seen (but not touched).

At the
GARDINER PHARMACY/YELLOWSTONE PERK located on Park Street before
the Northern entrance to Yellowstone Park you may browse clothing, photo-
graphs, choices for gifts as well as pizza, ice cream, and other good eats. is
entrance to the park near the Roosevelt Arch is open all year round. But take
the time to see all that Gardiner has to offer.
