yEllOWSTONE BOaT FlOaT
july 10 – 12, 2015
The annual yEllowStonE Boat float is an exciting 3-day float and camping adventure that
retraces the route of William Clark of the Lewis and Clark expedition down the Yellowstone
river. The float starts at 8 a.m. on Friday in Livingston at the Mayor's Landing Boat Launch.
After all day on the river, stop in Big Timber to enjoy camping, food, and live music. Find river-
side music at the Thompson ranch across from the Otter Creek Fishing Access, then hop a free
shuttle bus to downtown for the street dance. The float continues Saturday morning with a trip
to reed point. Don't forget to pull-over for riverside parties and water fun and, of course, Hot
Dog island. end the second day with an overnight stop in reed point, another street dance, and
more live music. Wrap up the weekend on Sunday, when all of the hard-core floaters will load-
in for one more day on the water and finish the float in Columbus. remember, be safe, prepare
for the elements, and most of all, create a weekend of memories and new friends.
