FLORIST SHOP ON BROADWAY STREET
Green and white ceramic tiles in a Moorish pattern decorate a Broadway Street florist’s shop and recall the presence of Lebanese and Syrians in early Butte. Prominent Butte architect Henry Patterson designed the 1892 Curtis Music Hall, today’s Gamer’s Café on Park Street. The building provided welcome relief from mining’s rigors with an elegant dance hall upstairs above a renowned candy store.
