Story
Six months
to live, nine
years ago
risha was a busy 31-year-old mom, wife and special
education teacher when she was diagnosed with Stage IIIB
Lung Cancer. Given six months to live if treatment didn't work, the
medical team at Billings Clinic supported Trisha and helped her navigate
both the physical and emotional challenges of her battle with cancer.
Understanding that her diagnosis required much more than just
specialized medical care, Billings Clinic provided Trisha with an
oncology social worker, financial counselor, dietitian, nurse navigator
and research nurse. It was through Trisha's resilience, combined with
our care, that allowed her to continue her life.
