I started Jelt out of pure necessity. As an athletic, busy working mother, I discovered a
need for a functional belt to keep my jeans from sagging and my kids from cringing.
Jelt soon evolved from being a comfortable, flat belt to wear with jeans to the perfect
belt for hiking, biking, skiing, golfing and traveling.
Jelt is a socially responsible company, which is why we make our belt out of 100%
rec
recycled water bottles. Jelt also donates $1 of every belt sold to organizations
supporting combat-wounded veterans, families and the environment.
My company has followed its mission by bringing manufacturing from China to
Montana via the Montana Correctional Enterprise Program at the Montana Women's
Prison. This privileged program trains these women to be successful in life after
incarceration.
