FREEZEOUT LAKE
Freezeout Lake, north of Choteau
in the Rocky Mountain Front. For
about two weeks hundreds of
thousands of snow geese use
the lake as a staging point, while
they wait for nature's signal that
northern destinations are open
for feeding and breeding. If you
arrive in time you can see them
arrive in huge squadrons.
