MUSEUM OF THE ROCKIES is the only museum west of the
Mississippi having the honor of hosting an exhibit of artifacts
from the villa of Emperor Nero's second wife, which was buried
when Pompeii erupted in 79 AD. The archaeological excavation
also unearthed an adjacent wine distribution center. "Leisure
and Luxury in the Age of Nero: The Villas of Oplantis Near Pom-
