Restored by Don Waite, he is also building a replica cowboy town in the very area where Russell ranched. Talk to Waite about how his granddaddy cow- boyed with Russell in the 1870s-80s and hear other stories. In 1888, Walter Waite and Ed Morris built the Silver Dollar Saloon. Attached to it was the Judith Hotel where Walter's wife worked. Both are now torn down but you can read about Utica as an icon of the West in Silver Dollar Tales by Walter Waite.
