CANYON RIVER SPA We at Canyon River Spa agree that the most rewarding part of our job is to be able to make someone’s special day even more spectacular. One wedding party stands out for all of us. On this particular day we witnessed a party for four generations of women and their close friends. After their arrival by limousine they were taken back to the changing room and our large eucalyptus steam room. After hot showers, the women emerged, wearing fluffy velour robes, and shared memories by the fireplace in the relaxation room as they sipped lattes. The bride-to-be and her mother enjoyed side-by-side massages in our couples’ fireplace suite where they were able to discuss the upcom- ing event. In the nail room the whole group enjoyed manicures and pedicures while they ate prepared lunches. Laughter and smiles rang throughout the Spa. The mother of the bride shed tears while watching her daughter’s hair and makeup being done in the Salon. When the party ended, the flower girl, with pink fingernails and pink lip- gloss, announced she couldn’t wait to come back. Every- one agreed, and we can’t wait to see them again!
