This is our 13th issue of Distinctly A Child's Calendar, 1965 W Montana since acquiring the magazine in the fall of 2010. Looking back, it is kind of amazing that we have been able to preside over a complete transformation of the magazine in almost every way imaginable…from layout and display to distribution, from feature content to graphic art, from our Web site to our social media and, starting with this issue, from standard size to over-size (notice the difference)? Of course, we don't do this alone; our level of excellence is supported by a marvelous ensemble of Montanans—our editor, Valerie Harms, our art director, Robert Rath, a bevy of writers, artists, photographers, and the occasional renegade, reprobate, or raconteur to spice the pages we bring to you in each of the four seasons, when living or visiting Montana is special in (distinctly) its own way.
