tana Fish Wildlife and Parks website notes that the lake holds
brook, brown, kokanee and rainbow trout, all introduced, as well
as the native species of longnose and white suckers and moun-
tain whitefish. There are 26 rustic campsites (no amenities) for
both tenting and RV-ing campers, and two boat launches. And

Moccasin, a census designated place with a population of 23,
lies just a few miles northwest of Hobson and almost due north
of Ackley Lake. The MSU Central Agricultural Research Center
was established in 1908 with the stated aim of teaching new set-

during the summer months.
