There are 26 rustic campsites (no amenities) for both tenting and RV-ing campers, and two boat launches. And bring your camera. Moccasin, a census designated place with a population of 23, lies just a few miles northwest of Hobson and almost due north of Ackley Lake. The MSU Central Agricultural Research Center was established in 1908 with the stated aim of teaching new set- tlers how to farm dry land. Today, the center offers public tours during the summer months. There is a lot to see and do in Judith Basin County. I know I can't wait to get back and continue my explorations around this part of central Montana.
