SETH ANDERSON finds himself constantly inspired by
the natural world and recognizes the opportuni-
ty he has to capture spectacular moments amidst
the mountains, and to share them—in hopes of
simultaneously inspiring action and a reaction
to fight for future conservation of the beautiful
places on this planet. Photography and writing
have become his main tools to share these beautiful moments.

DOUG STEVENS (aka "graytrekker"), is a retired scien-
tist and college educator. He is also a freelance
writer and photographer living near Polson. Part
of his experience of Montana's grandeur is not
only backpacking through and photographing its
epic scenery, but in tracing the footsteps of those
who have gone before—learning their stories and their impacts
on today's life and landscapes. Doug's printshop can be found at:

GARY SHELTON was born in Lewistown in 1951 and has
been a rancher, a railroader, a biker, a teacher, a
hippie, and a cowboy. Now he's trying his hand
at writing in the earnest hope that he'll make
enough at it to make a down payment on an RV.
Hell, scratch that. Enough to buy the whole RV.

Pictures and words have always been a prevail-
ing theme in
KAY BJORK'S life. As a child she loved to
create greeting cards and to write stories and po-
ems. This love for words and pictures along with
a curiosity about the world's people and places
manifested itself in a career as a feature writer
and photographer for newspapers and magazines. Their home
on Swan Lake has provided the perfect base camp for writing,
photographing and exploring the great outdoors with family and
friends.
