Thousands flock to Lewistown the second
Saturday of September for our annual Choke-
cherry Festival, which is now in its 32nd year.
It's our harvest fest, a
way to welcome the
fall with the help of
200-plus vendors. Be it
crafts, clothing, pro-
duce or food trucks, the
unique and enticing
booths offer a little bit
of everything. The same
goes for the other ac-
tivities involved with the day, as festival-goers
can also take in live entertainment (including the
Friday night Chokecherry Jam), culinary contests,
a car show, a book sale at the library, a pancake
breakfast and the one and only Chokecherry Run.
