D I S T I N C T L Y M O N T A N A • M Y M O N T A N A H O M E 68 WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF YOU WERE NOT IN REAL ESTATE? If I were not in some form of real estate or development, I would be a jewelry designer. I marvel at the creativity of the mix of metals, stones, textures, and colors, much like someone would a painting. Real estate is similar, as the process is the craft of assessing our clients' needs, goals, wants, and finances to help sculpt them into their desired real estate vision, much like an architect does with a building. WHAT ABOUT BEING AN ENGEL & VÖLKERS ADVISOR SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER REALTORS? I believe there are two important items that set me apart from other Realtors. One, I have 22 years of real estate experience, having worked in four states, in remarkably diverse markets and economic sectors, through two recessions and 9/11—this is a full-time, lifelong profession for me. Two, the internationally collaborative platform and state-of-the-art tools and resources that Engel & Völkers pro- vides for not only me but my clients are truly unattainable by any other real estate company worldwide. TELL US ABOUT A TYPICAL DAY AT THE OFFICE. One of the things I love the most about my business is the fact there is no typical day. Every day, situation, client, transaction, and all the issues we juggle changes from day to day and hour to hour. The key to good coordination with my team and office is constant commu- nication with all members of our clients' real estate experience. I once counted that there are about 168 steps involved in a typical real estate transaction, and every day we must assess where we are in each of our transactions to best serve our clients' needs. Successfully managing my day involves continuous communication, coordina- tion, and did I mention communication? P OLLYANNA SNYDER IS ONE OF MONTANA'S PREMIER REAL ESTATE AGENTS, SERVING THE STATE SINCE 1999. Her reputation precedes her everywhere she goes, and it's almost impossible to go anywhere with her without someone saying hello, or starting a conversation with her. She has the uncommon dis- tinction of having built her real estate business upon a foundation of solid guiding principles and a capstone of philanthropy and compas- sion. Sought out by clients and other agents alike, we were recently fortunate enough to catch her long enough to get an interview. You can reach PollyAnna at 406-404-1960, or montana406.com.
