Four friends fish one of Montana's
blue-ribbon streams. Part of the definition
of good fishing is the occasional opportunity
for solitude. However, women tend to group
together just as they do to make other situations more social. Taken around 1915 by one of
the noted Schlechten brothers, note how different the attire is from today — certainly not
waterproof but comfortable. Also different are
the fishing poles and the big catch.
