Traveling dentist in 1890. This
wagon was the laboratory and of-
fice of Dr. Oscar A. Kenck of Helena,
who provided better services than
alcohol as an anesthesia for a
sore tooth. A woman founded the
first dental hygienists association
in 1963. The first Dental Hydiene
program—a four-year degree—
was offered at Carroll College in
