Police Reports from The Flathead (courtesy Daily Inter Lake ~Kalispell) A caller reported a couch was stuffed into his doorway. The couch allegedly was previously located across the street and the caller believed someone moved it. Someone reported suspicious activity to Whitefish Police when they saw kids playing Pokemon. A person told officers that a neighbor advertising huckleberries via cardboard signs on the side of the U.S. 2 could create litter if the signs were to fall down. Kalispell Police Department was on puppy patrol when following up on a report. Officers met with the puppy owner and located four “loud and excited” puppies in a round pen with shade and water, appearing in good health. After two years of reportedly being parked on a street — someone finally reported a flatbed truck full of garbage. A Bigfork man told Flathead County Sheriff’s officers he wanted to get a reaction from the “yuppies” who allegedly give him problems, which he said is why he set up a target across a roadway and started firing at it. Officers told the man the message had been received.
