"We are still here
because we started
out with a theory
and stuck to it."
Her marketing 101 tip is:
It's ALL in the P – L – A – C – E.
P = Products that are not available in other stores.
L = Location that has advantages of easy drive in and drive out. Parking right in front
of the store and easy door access.
A= Advertising methods that remind folks of what wonderful and unique items we
have and there is always something new.
C= Customers experience exceptional customer service.
E= Employees make your business a cohesive and fun experience for everyone that
comes through your doors.

Tip:
Montana holds so much magic. I've found that people will come from vast distances
to take part in that magic. I led writing retreats and held them in various destination locales, thinking that Montana would be too remote for many people. But the
minute I decided to host my Haven Writing Retreats in Whitefish, my retreats booked
up almost immediately. So if there's a way to use the attraction of Montana in your
business, I'd say go for it.
