"If clouds are blocking the sun, there will always be a silver lining that reminds me to keep on trying." ~ Matthew Quick, Silver Linings Playbook Gently Used and New Furniture and Lighting High End to Every Day Furnishings A ttitude is everything. It is always amazing to me that so much of life can turn on one's attitude and acceptance. We like to call them "silver linings," because small threads of brightness and beauty weave themselves through even the most difficult, trying, or bland parts of our lives. The trick, of course, is to see these threads enter your life and to weave them into new possibilities of hope and happiness, of acceptance and opportunity. Maybe that is why spring figures so prominently as the season for rebirth and renewal. Just the sight of green and flowers sprouting from the earth is enough to give me a brightened attitude. As winter's darkness fades and days are filled with more light and warmth—well, that alone makes me want to jump for joy. Like the woman on our cover, they "re-boot" my attitude. In this issue of Distinctly Montana GAL, our hope is that you will find features and advice that will be fun, inspirational, and helpful. You can dance and drum your way into spring with our article on Ginny Watts, inspire your wardrobe with vintage, or if you are a bride-to-be, then find accessory ideas that sparkle. We offer you interesting business women to meet . You can do some GALlivanting through the state, find advice on fly-fishing, and meet cool gals on bikes…and much more. Spring into a new attitude. For me...and for you, I hope it starts here.
